Damien Dufourd qualified as an Osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy and holds Sports Massage qualifications since 2012. He has certified applied functional science skills with 3DMAPS from the Gray Institute, N-Map certification with Scott Sonnon and a wide range of experience in sports and general clinic.
He is working with patients from various backgrounds, from artists to professional sportsmen and women (kick boxer Arnold Oborotov) and office workers. During the last 4 years, he has also built extended experience working with cyclists and was part of the medical team during last year's "One Day Ahead" Tour de France events in July 2015 and 2017. Damien views each client as an individual and creates effective personalised treatment plans using gentle manipulations, soft tissue release, deep tissue, muscle energy, joint articulation, trigger points, muscle inhibition, stretching and exercise advice aimed at promoting health and wellbeing, aiding recovery from injury as well as preventing those injuries from reoccurring. |
